GMs,

Although we all know our fantasy play is for fun, there are times when we have to add a degree of seriousness to make sure things run properly.

I got a request today to delete a bid that was more than the posted leading bid.  Most of you know I have been removing a variety of bids as invalid.  Without going into the specifics of each removal, I cannot remove a bid because of “buyer’s remorse”. 

All of us are on an honor system as we bid on free agents and we are all free to bid as we please.  It goes without saying that before you post a given bid, you need to think of the financial impact it will have on your team.  There are no do-overs, a posted bid is a posted bid.

On a personal note, I posted some bids on some current free agents that I regretted, but luckily, some of you saved me from myself.  Again, I know we all do this for fun, so please regard this as a heads up, and nothing more.
