Tigers offer the following extensions:
- SP Joe Musgrove: 2 year extension for $18.57m per year
- C Mitch Garver: 2 year extension for $5.91m per year

Tigers will not be offering extensions to the following and will release them to free agency:
- 1B/3B DJ Lemahieu
- RP Will Smith
- RP Hector Neris
- IF Gio Urshella

Tigers decline arbitration for the following players. If it's possible to put them in the minors if there are no claims, that's what I'd like to do but if that's not possible, I'm good with releasing them into the free agency wild:
- RP Cody Bradford
- RP Tyler Holton
- SP/RP Chris Flexen
- SP/RP Austin Gomber
- SS Tyler Fitzgerald

Also: Parker Meadows is listed on the Tigers roster on the spreadsheet (minor leagues) but is not actually on this team (unfortunately).

Also, also: Royce Lewis was called up but has not been added to the active roster in Fantrax.

Isaac Paredes (arb in 2024, 2025, 2026)
retaining $5m of Chris Sale's salary in 2024, 2025, and 2026

Tigers send:
Chris Sale ($18m in 2024, 2025, 2026 with Tigers retaining $5m each year)

  • ldsjayhawk: @jwalker I make like 2-3 trades a year for each of my baseball teams, maybe.  I'll tell you part of the reason I don't trade.  Every trade discussion starts out with the other team wanting my top prospect regardless of what I am trading for.  I am not trading Jackson Holliday for your backup catcher who is going to play 20 games this year.
