Title: Type A FA Rule clarification
Post by: game162 on January 26, 2019, 07:21:28 PM
Just curious how it would work if the same team signed 2 Type A FA's for over $50m each.  How would the draft pick compensation work in that case?  I could totally be missing it, but I didn't see this mentioned in the updated rules.

They would lose their 2nd and 5th round pick for the first player and their 3rd round pick for their second player.  If there is a third player taken, then it would be the next highest, which would be their 4th round pick.
