San Diego send:

RHP Justin Slaten PC

Royals send:

2024 fourth round pick

$1.5M international funds

KC makes this trade to roll the dice on Boston continuing its trend of turning relievers into starters in the Houck-Crawford-Whitlock mold. Slaten throws upper 90?s heat and I believe he?s got the potential to be a back end starter someday. For a fourth rounder and INT money I?m going to move all of anyway it?s worth the gamble.

I confirm I think Slaten is a rp the pick is a little Less than I?d like. But, the int money equals out the value for me
