Placed Zucker on IR on a previous post.
Also place Ryan Ellis on IR Buyout Brent Seabrook, $3.5m (2020-21) - retirement buyout - $1.8m owed Call up Zach Whitecloud as an IR replacement Right now I count 24 players on my roster so if I have room for 1 more, I'll call up Connor Clifton as an IR replacement for Ellis as well. 103
Backyard NHL: Archives / Re: IR Replacements« on: March 11, 2021, 05:53:36 PM »In backyard IR replacement players are assigned to the player that are on IR. I think that is what has always been done according to the rules.Sorry yes, this is where my question comes from. The purpose of this was so that you would have to eventually release these players back to free agency for everyone to have a fair shot on, especially if they were a good performing player. If you allow a switch of players then you can just pick the best player as an IR replacement and release the ones not doing as good in comparison to the one you signed to replace that specific player. The intent of the rule this way was so that there was a legitimate free agent pool to get IR players from and they weren't just maintained on their roster as per say a "taxi squad" member from this season. Just food for thought, I am good with whatever decision. 104
Backyard NHL: Archives / Re: Tanking« on: March 11, 2021, 03:04:11 PM »Roster ViolationThis is a just punishment as most often this is used to move a player up and down the lineup to get more points then allowed but obviously this process was used this time in an illegal manner. 105

So I can just move an IR replacement around?
So say a player like Pavel Zacha, I have as an IR replacement for someone. I can release Seabrook then place Ellis on IR and keep Zacha as a replacement? Or I could move Zacha to an IR replacement for Zucker then place Ellis on IR and be all good? 106

On our Google Rosters, can we tell who is an IR replacement for who? I want to make a move with Seabrook's retirement but don't know which one of my IR replacements is the one for Seabrook.

Really I thought I had this all figured out haha.
