Just for practice and for fun, if Anaheim had to submit a protection list this is what it would look like at this point:
Mock Protection List 7 Skaters AND 1 Goalie 1. Tomas Hertl, $5.3m (2019-2022) 2. Brayden Point, $7.4m (2019-2023) 3. Jared McCann, $2.4m (2019-2022) 4. Joshua Morrissey, $2.8m (2019-2022) 5. Josh Manson, $4.5m (2018-2022-FP-6.0 ). Franchise Player is protected 6. Tom Wilson, $10.0m (2020-2025) 7. Jared McCann, $2.4m (2019-2022) 8. Kevin Lankinen, $4.9m (2020-2023)
3 Defencemen exposed: 1. Anthony Bitetto, $0.6m (2019-2021) 2. Greg Pateryn, $0.7m (2020-2022) 3. Jason Demers, $1.5m (2020-2023)
Maximum 4 Entry Level Contract (ELC) players can be protected: 1. Nico Hischier, $3.0m (2018-2021-ELC)
Maximum 5 expiring contracts (ending in 2021 and no extension) n/a
Must expose 1 Goalie from the regular roster or expose 3 in MiLR if there is no qualifying regular roster Goalie to be exposed Anders Nilsson, $5.3m (2020-2023) is exposed
good practice list!

Ask any question you have.
From our perspective (PPG and myself) we wanted to ensure Seattle had a decent roster post expansion draft. That meant new rules such as allowing for the drafting of players on expiring contracts (limited #) because of a team can’t afford to resign or isn’t interested in a pending FA, or wants to try to resign via FA cheaper, well Seattle should have a shot at that player.
Goalies, Seattle should have a decent selection without completely loading up 2 stud net minders. Of course, there’s also room for teams to negotiate with Seattle to stay away or negotiate with friendly teams to help protect assets.
Overall, we tried to allow Seattle a chance to create a competitive roster in year one.
Ultimately, Seattle can go the development route and deal assets for super prospects and handle being at the bottom of the standing s for 2-3 yrs before rising to the top.

We weren’t expecting a new member to claim the owner’s box but we were impressed with activity, type of activity and knowledge. Overall FNHL Seattle is in good hands.

With the border being closed for an extended period of time, the Cdn division is a must for the NHL. But the states will be a mixed bag for sure.

So it's 100% on Fantrax correct? What is that 2020 FNHL Entry Draft page used for then? Just want to make sure I'm posting or drafting on the right page. Thanks guys!
I think the Profsl or Google Doc list is a nicer way the league tracks the draft selections. It also is the way the league drafted up to a few years ago before they switched over to Fantrax 100%. I asked. 100% on fantrax except for the new team
Wundermaan is correct! The draft page on Profsl is a legacy type paper trail only. Because new owners can’t always see what happened past yrs we decided to keep that papertrail item going even though it’s more work than we need to do. Since last yr we started using the entry and supplemental draft list pages as a place to write up the MiLR listing to be added to each team page. Bottomeline, draft is 100% on Fantrax.

PPG and I will post the expansion rules Oct 31st when we confirm the new owner of the FNHL Seattle Kraken As with the NHL, teams will need to meet and make the minimum players available to the expansion draft.
