The movement of players out of Pittsburgh this winter hasn't been crazy. We are talking to a few big market teams about Michael Conforto, Jed Lowrie, and Tyson Ross.

What we have done in management is make sure we get enough quality players on the field while we grow out the farm system for more. A focus on the farm has been key. The franchise has invested $22m into signing bonuses already for prospects.  That already represents about a third of the max budget for the team this year.

We have another $10m or so planned to spend in free agency, so only a few more moves will be made. With that said, we do want to entertain trades if it helps build for the 2022-24 window.
