Seattle confirms. After acquiring so much pitching lately we were able to move Cole for two players that work well in this scoring format. Badly needed a C and there aren't really any available in FA so to get a starter is nice. Roberts is also a strong utility player that I think will do well with a full year in TB.

SP Gonzalez, Gio, $6.5m (2017)
MI Donald, Jason, $0.5m (2013)
Pittsburgh gets:
MI Franklin, Nick, $0.5m (P-n/a)
MI Gyorko, Jedd, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Some big names in here. Seattle's used our hitting depth to improve our pitching and this is a big one. Franklin and Gyorko both have huge potential but Gio is proven to be one of the best in the bigs and has a great contract going forward. Having Altuve and Hechevvaria at MI still gave us the ability to make this move and improve the team.

SEA pays $0.5 mi in '13 and '14
Trading an OF we don't believe in for a SP we do. I like Cloyd and never believed much in Snider.

Seattle trades to NYM
OF Soriano, Alfonso, $4.5m (2013)
NYM trade to Seattle
SP Wainwright, Adam, $18.5m (2015)
Seattle does this trade to improve our pitching with a much needed addition and have the cap space to do it. Soriano is better suited for a contender and our "rebuilding" team doesn't need him as badly this year.

EDIT: Wainwright already had $9m paid in '13 that we missed so Corey isn't paying the additional $5m like we had originally posted it with.
