A lopsided deal with the eventual FNHL Stanley Cup winner that saw the departure of Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, Cam Fowler and Jonas Hiller to name the core players lost in return for what amounted to a bag of pucks left the Anaheim franchise in the gutter especially after the Ducks owner left town shortly after that terrible trade. Fast forward to 2012, recently departed owner Cloud91 has left a solid foundation for the next owner to guide to the Cup after rebuild for 2 seasons! However, the off-season will see the Isls unlock approximately 6.0m in buy-out cap space and receive an additional 5-7m when the 2014-15 salary cap is made official. This is a franchise that should be a serious competitor for the next few seasons.

None will have any challenges competing once a dedicated new owner purchases them and sets the franchise's strategic direction. They are a few moves from being top contenders!

If I had a chance to add another franchise to my stable I'd buy either Colorado or Vancouver.

The Avs look like they're ready to compete for the Cup. They have been every year this league's been around but were a few moves shy.

The Canucks have the Sedins and MAF. That and $20 million other reasons they'll be competitive when Free Agency opens in August.

will be made available to a new owner after the playoffs. That's a sweet franchise to own. Two time FNHL Stanley Cup Champ. Two time President's Trophy winner for finishing 1st overall in the regular season.

I think Tyler should sell that franchise of his for a profit. Let's set that franchise fee at 50$ LOL I'm kidding. Or am I? LOL
