I take it back, I offered to Rc. I cant sit back and watch.

Another great idea, text message updates? Would we care if the league management had our cells and could text when were up?

Two seasons ago I was in charge of rosters and did a pretty good job. This year I was removed from that position with no reason and no discussion. Sorry not gonna help with that type of thanks.

I feel I explained to you pretty clearly (below) why I wanted someone else to take over processing the transactions this year. Bhows has done a terrific job this year and I feel the league is in a better place with additional people that can process transactions.

Chris,

Sorry was busy with work yesterday and didn't get a chance to respond to my PMs. No I am not ignoring you, I am still looking to see if I can find a new person to do the rosters so that we have more options in case something should happen to one of us. Backups are important similar to the past where Colby, Corey, Howe, Paul and Rob were all able to do the rosters if need be. I will let you know if I need your help with the rosters this year.

An interesting interpretation of what you said to me. I read that there was no reason to change the primary, but to add backups. So i dont understand why I wasnt included, truthfully.

My suggestions would be a 12 hour clock and allow changes to auto picks if the player wanted has not been picked by another team.

 :iatp:

These are the only changes I would like as well. I do not like the idea of skipping a pick altogether as it weakens farm systems of teams with an MIA manager. Ability to change the pick later if the player they want is still available is a nice balance. And I agree 8 hours is too short... I knew my pick was coming up next last night after autopicks and was worried I'd wake up to an auto draft this morning; that would've sucked.

i think  12 hrs is good also. Ialso  like the id of text messageing i dont  care if  u text  me to let me know its my turn.i also think as long as you make your next pick is do is no problem.if u dont make you pick and  u make to your next pick i think u should lose previous pick. you have plenty of time so there  shouldnt  be any reason u cant make your pick at all.if the person doesnt make  to picks in row he should be put on auto draft

I know I'm a nobody here. Hell, I can't figure who was drafted for my team this year, but what about a private group on Facebook? Most people check Facebook a couple times a day. You'd get a notification on your phone. You just keep the same thread going. Just my two cents.

  • dbreer23: Take two to tango, though. Most owners with adequate or surplus SP aren't interested in prospects as they're trying to win now.

  • Braves155: My issue in LIVE currently is having Strider/Alcantara/Giolito all on the long shelf, so I am more retooling than rebuilding

  • Daddy: Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

  • Daddy: I here to tell you that ALL major league pitching is good pitching. A great hitter beats a terrible pitcher just 3 out of 10 times. Which means the worst pitchers > the greatest hitters.

  • Brent: Greg Maddux had the best outlook.  He viewed himself as tye dealer/house and you had to beat him.  Just like in the casino, the house nearly always wins.
