Title: Flames deal for Evander Kane. Kesler and Prospects to Rangers.

Deal baby. Deal in Cowtown! We get sniper, power fwd Evander while unloading Peters dead cap to a guy who loves goalies.

Evander Kane, $9.0m (2012-2017)

Ryan Kesler, $5.0m (2010-2016)
Justin Peters, $3.4m (2014-2017)
G - Jon Gillies (2012: 3/75 - 0 Games)
C - Ryan Donato (2014: 2/56 - 0 Games)
LW - Anthony Beauvillier (2015: 1/28 - 0 Games)

We should be set in goal with a bunch of leafs in tow. We werent going to resign Ryan. John Gillies had to be in the deal and the minors pay for moving Justin Peters buried butt.

Hoping Gillies is only a couple of years away from stealing the starting role from duo of Ramo and Hiller in Calgary. Donato will be a power forward someday. Hopefully soon. Beauvillier is a good addition to my MiLR.

I will be fielding offers on Ryan Kesler.
There's definitely going to be interest from a contender who needs a scoring RW/C vet for their playoff run!

:iatp: I like the trade for both teams. Evander Kane's cap hit is coming down on his next contract. He should be easy to move and command a lot and that's what NYR got in the rebuild package.
