Flyers/Flames trade

Flames trade

2015 1st rd supplemental draft picks (x2)
D Robert Hagg, $m (P-n/a)

Flyers trade

LW /RW James Neal, $9.5m (2016-2017)


Flames trade with confidence that they have enough up and coming talent to not miss two draft picks, in order to pick up a quality piece, who instantly becomes the best player on the roster! Also means that I get some depth at RW, something I am woefully missing in.

Flyers to confirm and thanks to tubbs for negotiations

Flyers agree. We move Neal's salary and get Cal and Van's first round picks. I get Hagg who I like as well. Nice trade for both!

I approve but I really don't like the deal, just feel Neal toats a better return but I've never been big on picks so maybe I just under value them lol

  • Brent: Thank you.  Yes, I agree.  I do need to break one asset down to 3.  I did that with JJ, went from S tier to 2 A tiers.  Now I need to potentially go from an A tier to 3 Bs or something like that.  I've had some inquiries on Carr, but nothing worth moving him.
