Hey cliff, good luck taking over and thanks for taking over.
Just wondering about the updated deadlines, did the extension period already happen or was it missed due to no commissioner being here to process or inform? If so we may want to change that deadline? If not then I just missed it completely and that is my bad.

No one took advantage of extension period and the league is back to FA.

Do you think we want to consider that was due to the amount of transactions that needed to done? Just food for thought, as I am just an opinion and a shoulder to lean on (aka the old grandfather of BNHL haha)

Literally, 18 out of 20 gm's including the inactive gm's didn't post one extension, including the inactive Wild and Carolina. There was no posting, updating of 19/20 deadlines or announcements. Some of us gm's have been extending some of these players for multiple seasons. Ian disappeared, please don't ignore the history of Backyard.

Tomorrow is the trade deadline just an FYI

Slowly have been thumbing through all past POSTS and rules and what not and some updates are thin or non-existence in some categories not updated for years and confusing in total structure. Salary Caps, Playoffs, Scheduling, Penalties (totally against), etc....and amazed at the activity of GM in this league. I'll do my best to finish out this year having setup playoffs and updated trans ...and YES trading deadline is 2-11-20

On hell of a battle in EAST between Philadelphia & Boston for the final wildcard and in the WEST a battle between Chicago & Calgary for the final wildcard with 2 weeks left to regular season, good luck.
-
...here we go to final week of regular season, good luck!
