Re-Signing Gio for 4 years at $5.3m will hurt as that contract gets older.

He's turning 36 years old in a few months, so whoever gets him in a trade will be getting him for his age 36, 37, 38 and 39 year old years.

That said, for even a 3rd round pick, Slack will turn that 3rd rounder into some ridiculous sleeper of a pick who will become a stud, haha.
