I've been shopping JVR for a while and while I still feel he's worth a lot, nobody else seems to agree with me!  Heh.  But I love adding Timmins and Appleton.  The picks will be late round, but overall if I hit on one of these assets then I'm happy.  Thanks Ryan!

I like JVR a lot for free next year, and then I'll have to see what his re-sign value is after that. Anton gives me some cheap depth at goalie with the possibility of 20-30 starts.

I think it's all timing?  Once everyone extends their players and fills up on FA, cash becomes more valuable.

But if those who have cap to burn don’t care then it makes it a bit less important to them.
