Backyard Draft & Lottery

Hey guys, so with the abrupt ending to our season I'll have to be creative with the draft and draft lottery this year as there were no playoffs for placements and who knows where to draw the line on who is eligible to win the first overall pick. I'll come up with some guidelines for this soon and post them up! I have decided, as the stoppage happened on March 12th, that week 21 was considered the end of our season and the first round of playoffs will not be considered as that week did not go to completion.

Just for some info, here would have been the 12 playoff teams as of the stoppage. Well now after posting this I see thecliff changed the playoff structure?? Not sure why so I will have to check on what is what there.

Pacific
1st - Edmonton
2nd - Vancouver
3rd - Vegas

Central
1st - St. Louis
2nd - Colorado
3rd - Chicago

Metro
1st - Washington
2nd - New York
3rd - Philadelphia

Atlantic
1st - Montreal
2nd - Toronto
3rd - Detroit

I guess the guidelines were out there for me. The bottom 8 who were not going to make playoffs will be in the draft lottery with the following odds:
20th - 26%
19th - 22%
18th - 16%
17th - 12%
16th - 9%
15th - 7%
14th - 5%
13th - 3%
12th through 1st - 0%

Here are the results of the draft lottery. I didn't get to it yesterday as we were bailing all day but have some time to get this done today.

That means that Carolina :CAR-NHL: has won the draft lottery and jumps up from 3rd to 1st for the 1st round. All other rounds will remain the same.
