Mariners trade:  OF Broxton, Keon, $0.5m (P-2019)
Rockies trade:  C Grenier, Grayson, $0.5m (P-n/a) should be P-2022
Upon trade approval please demote Lane Thomas to minors.

We trade a starting catcher from our minor league roster for Broxton who was just traded to Baltimore and may see incresed playing time.  Mariners to confirm.

Normally the :SEA: GM would have to post a rationale, but based on his posted Trade Block, it seems self-explanatory in that he’s acquiring a stated need.
