For pretty much the same reason as Brent I'm trading from a position of strength to boast up my rotation. You can't replace Manny Machado but Luis Castillo and Egunio Suarez off set it enough to make me comfortable making the deal. The money wasn't even a thought for me because the Padres have pretty solid contracts all around, as most of their payroll in real life is on dead contracts. Good luck Brent. I'm sure we will be clashing in the playoffs soon.

I'm just looking to mix up my roster. I'm a big fan of Mancini and for some reason I can't seem to let go of Miguel Castro even though he's probably average at best. I'm taking a risk on sending both Baez and Bolanos in the same deal but both of them are probably relievers long term (probably not but that's what I'm telling myself).
