Section A-MLB Rosters
Item AVII A-1.0 Roster Size
MLB roster shall consist of a maximum of 40 players.
Item AVII A-2.0- Roster Composition
There are no restrictions as to the composition of the roster however, a legal roster must be maintained in order to score points on Fantrax.
Item AVII A-3.0- 60 Day Injured List
There shall be a 2 player Injured List for players who are assigned to the 60 Day Injured List by their MLB teams. Players will be designated as such on a team's ProFSL roster under the Cash Exchanges
section of the roster.
, Cap Hits, and Signing Bonuses)
.
Assigning a player to the injured list will allow a team to open up the roster spot for a during the time the original player is on the injured list.
Their contracts shall still be counted against the team Salary Cap
A post must be made prior to a player being moved to and removed from the 60 Day Injured List
They must be activated
and removed
from the 60 Day Injured List within 48 hours of reinstatement by their respective MLB team
, the ProFSL GM of the that particular player, must open up a roster spot for him
If there is roster space, the player will be moved to the active roster. However, if there is not, the GM must make room for the player by the end of the 48 hour reinstatement period. If he does not, the player will be released to free agency.
The injured list is not available during the off season. Players may not remain or be added to the injured list during this time. A player must be reinstated by the deadline listed on the league calendar. Players may again be added to the injured list during spring training, when their MLB team has officially added the player to the list.
Their contracts shall still be counted against the team Salary Cap, but their MLB roster spot will be opened up for the time they are not activated by their MLB teams (which in some cases may be longer than 60 days). GMs shall post that a particular player is being moved to the 60 Day Injured List by posting an alert on the FGM Transactions Board.
A list of the players on the Injured List shall be kept on the Transactions Board by the moderator
Once they are activated and removed from the 60 Day Injured List by their respective MLB team, the ProFSL GM of the that particular player, must open up a roster spot for him to reinstated or drop him. If an open roster spot is available, the player is simply reactivated. This shall be done within 48 hours of his activation. If the player is not reactivated within the 48 hour period, that player shall be released to the Free Agent pool by the moderator, with the player being listed on the ProFSL roster as Released under Contract.
**Note: In MLB, the 60 day IL terminates at the end of the season and all players require a corresponding move to be reinstated to the 40 man roster or released. As such, all players on the 60 day IL in FGM will be returned to the active roster. If there is not a space, GMs will have until 48 hours from the end of the season to make a move to accomodate the player or the player will automatically be released in accordance with the above rule.**

Section B-MiLB Rosters
(Adopted 1/30/15)
Item AVII B-1.0 Roster Size
The MiLB roster will consist of 20 players.
Item AVII B-2.0- Roster Eligibility
Any player may be placed in the minors at any time unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) played in 50 games (position player) or (b) accumulated 40 IP (pitcher) in the Major Leagues.

A player that is over these limits is not eligible to be SENT to the Minors. However, if a player already in the minors hits these limits he may remain in the minors indefinitely. GM's are not forced to promote players that hit the threshold. The limit is only for sending a player to the minors.
Owners
GMs

I could flip a coin but nobody but me would see it. So a number has been selected between 1-32. You are both getting pms along with the two other mods.

Whomever guesses closer to the number gets the 1st overall pick in the amateur draft. The other picks first in expansion.

Honestly idk why the NBA doesn't do it that way for expanding. Two teams at a time. Expansion draft to amateur draft. I think the idea is fresh and its execution will be pretty dope.

I think the NBA goes one team at a time to give the one team a better talent pool in the expansion draft and also to keep the teams from complaining about losing more players

Thats fair

that makes sense
Today

Daddy
:
I mean they only losing one guy anyway tho. We expose 10 players, protect 5 players, each team, all 30 will lose one player.
Today
at 01:36:30 AM
Daddy
:
The expansion teams will then both have 15 players heading into the amateur draft with picks #1 & #2.
Today
at 01:37:43 AM
Daddy
:
Each other team will still have 14 players and one first round pick.
Today

Daddy
:
They need to hire me is what they need to do
Today
at 01:38:53 AM
Daddy
:
Yeah you lose a guy to the expansion draft. Likely your 6th man. Then the very next day you draft his replacement and keep it moving.

I think in the Bobcat expansion each team could protect 8 players. And I think the bobcats has to take at least 14 so half the league didn't even lose a player.
