Title: News Flash: MLB Schedule
Post by: Flash on March 13, 2020, 08:35:50 PM
GMs,

Just a heads up that with the decision by MLB to cancel/postpone the first two weeks of the regular season, FGM will have to wait until MLB announces what they are going to do.  Will it be a 162 game schedule with a variety of doubleheaders?  Will it be shortened by the number of games that have been postponed?  Or will it be further modified because of more cancellations?

Once we know, our league schedule will be modified accordingly.  Right now, we play a 21 week, 162 game regular season schedule, with 19 weeks of eight game matchups and two weeks with 5 game matchups (Opening week and All-Star week).  We follow that up with a four week playoff schedule and do not play the final week of the MLB season.  So, right now, we just have to wait until MLB makes a final decision before our schedule can be adjusted.

Is what it is at this point.

Gotta wait for the professionals to do what they do!

Stay safe ProFSL’ers and wash your hands frequently and don’t touch your face. Not that hard really...
Other than trying not to get coughed or sneezed on!
