We appreciate the volunteers that have stepped forward to help out with the league. There are some minor things that everyone could do to help out as well. We'd appreciate if in the future everyone could follow these guidelines to help us process transactions more quickly.
Team Moves
If you're posting transactions for your organization, releasing players for example. Please post your thread with your team icon. To change the icon, you'd simply change the default category below the subect line to MLB and change the icon to the right of MLB to your particular team.
In addition, if you are releasing players please indicate the position of each player. The spreadsheets are organized by position first and then alphabetically second. Posting the position will help us find the player much more quickly than if we have to search for him by name only.
Trades
Currently it's just kind of scattered how teams post trades. Everyone seems to use different phraseology. When posting a trade, please use the following format to indicate what players or items are being traded. Also, please use the trade icon to indicate it's a trade.
Team A Trades
Position, Player Name, Salary (Year)
Team B Trades
Position, Player Name, Salary (Year)
