:EDM: :COL-NHL: :PIT-NHL: :CAR-NHL: The East is competitive as hell. Atlantic teams will eliminate each other leaving the Metro teams to play for a spot in the FNHL Finals.
Will :DET-NHL: successfully Defend their Title in 2019-20?
I see an uphill for the Wings to repeat because of how active and competitive the Atlantic is as well as the talented teams in Metro. The off season brought a lot of change to Detroit's roster as well.
Which team will likely win our :money: and be crowned FNHL Champ?
:COL-NHL: or :CAR-NHL: Two very active teams.
Which team will Improve the Most?
:TBL: and :LV: Both will see good point increases based on the moves I've seen over the summer.
Which team will Slide the Most?
:STL-NHL: and :CHI-NHL: Blues have built a roster with lots of prospects and traded away a good amount of NHL players. Blackhawks have not done much and lost Cam Ward to retirement and few NHL ready prospects ready to step in to help.
Which 3 FNHL owners will be Most Active?
:COL-NHL: :MON-NHL: :MIN-NHL: All three teams seems to have a plan as to how they want to make adjustments to their rosters. Fun stuff to track. :toast:

:NYI: Only if Anderson plays like a soon to be retiring goalie and Varlamov doesn't get the same defence as Lehner did last yr.

:NAS: - BooYah! team is scary! But I believe in Winnington so a decent advantage coming for Nashville most weeks.

:STL-NHL: Improvements in molding a new team with a strong milr and just learning how to take advantage of FNHL rules and capital limits of other teams to build talent equity.
:VAN: The avengers are nearly assembled... playoffs!

:STL-NHL: Trading away current production; not like NHL where you can call up a rookie at will.

So many active owners; it’s probably easier to list the one or two that could make a little more noise. :BUF-NHL: has the most cap space And knows how to make a deal so I could see a dozen moves in season trying to leverage that space to improve the roster while buying out under performing resources.

Why are we supposed to be rooting against the Islanders again lol? That teams going to be in contention all year.
It's very early. I think the Flyers had a similar start last year if I remember right.
I'll go on the record and say Montreal wins it this year. Their depth and goaltending will be too much for whoever comes out of the Metro.. I like the Oilers to come out of the west.

I think the Islanders are still very strong despite the loss of one player.

I felt my Bolts had more legs before the season but now I think we’re wheelchair bound. Things can only get better for us.

Maybe Tampa has legs but they're just really short. :rofl: Kidding.
You never know what you have until the season starts.
Personally, I didn't think Detroit or NYI would be able to get off to strong starts but they have and then some. Good ownership leading the way with those two franchises. :toast: Respect.

I like the Metro the best. The only division that has lived up to the hype, and there are realistically 7 teams fighting for 5 playoff spots.

I'm glad the bullseye is on the Oilers' back. Edmonton has a realistic shot at finishing #1.
Metro will heat up now that my Rangers have a starting goalie again. Talbot hasn't lived up to expectations. Devan has been off dealing with personal/family issues and clearly not what we were anticipating.

I like the way the NHL is going. Its beneficial for this league to have most teams depending on 2 goalies instead of just 1.

Capitals have been rolling. Since December, they're 25-2 and the 2 losses were by a combined 2 points.

There's no doubt Jonathan's teams are levelling up in a big way this season. Puts lots of folks to shame.

I am just glad that the Ovechkin regressions talk was overblown. I was a little worried sitting in 5th in Metro with Flyers/Rangers poised to make a run at the playoffs. Metro is stacked.

We could very well see a Washington :WAS-NHL3: VS :EDM: Edmonton FNHL Final this year!

:EDM: OILERS have taken the overall lead in FNHL. Jonathan's Edmonton franchise has the likes of Eichel, Vrana, Pearson, Matt Tkachuk, Reinhart and a trio of goalies leading them to weekly victories!!!
:NAS: Preds sit 2nd overall.
:MON-NHL: Habs are 3rd.
On the wrong side of the tracks, :BUF-NHL: Sabres and :LV: Vegas are jockeying for sloppy seconds with only 9 wins apiece. Ooouffffff! :puke:
