:LV: 18 - Yes - Vegas has a shot at a Wildcard spot!
-
Definitely out of the playoff picture for 2019-20 are :FLO: :BUF-NHL: :NJD:
-
The biggest races are the Wildcard spots in both conferences. Lots of possibilities for movement by every team.

With 3 weeks left to play out the regular season, each team has a shot at earning approximately 40 points towards their standing position.
Time to put up or bow out and wait til next season. :taco:
-
Hey PPG ... am I crazy, or don't the playoffs need to start in 4 weeks (staring on Monday, March 9)?
3/9-3/15: Conference Quarters
3/16-3/22: Conference Semis
3/23-3/29: Conference Finals
3/30-4/4: Finals
Right now you've only got 3 weeks for the playoffs.
-
Although MCrow is right, I know I saw the correct 5 week Play-off period in Fantrax as recently as early January.
Also, the FNHL Deadlines page has shown the correct March 2nd start date since 2019-20 deadlines were finalized in the Fall.
Odd that Fantrax has been altered.

I’ve made the edit in Fantrax.
There are 3 weeks left in FNHL’s Regular Season!
Players last 5 weeks starting on March 2, with FNHL Finals lasting 2 weeks.
FNHL Deadlines page is correct.
Definitely something messed up with Fantrax.
PPG and I will dig into this glitch!
Great catch Mike! Thank you! :toast:
-
(3 wks left x 4 games per wk) x 2 point per win = 24pts MAX. that a team can accumulate until the end of the Regular Season.

I agree with MCrow and Dickie Dunn.
Good work by the commissioner to correct the problem.
Being a longshot to make the post season I honestly hadn't noticed the error that suddenly happened on the Fantrax site.

I remember when I sold Montreal and kept Washington. At the time, Montreal was a much better team with goalies. I did it because I had nothing to do with their success. Someone else did the work to build that team up. I knew that the team I did build up had 1 missing piece. Obviously Elvis has lived up to the hype and then some, especially in the last month or so. It will interesting to see how it plays out. Its interesting to see how each team builds, but I was more of a blow it up and then trust the rebuild type of GM.
-
Jonathan, part of the reason why you keep Washington over Montreal to build the team your way, was the same reason why i took over Vancouver rather than a few others that were on the market at that time.
The challenge of build your team and improving, while going up against knowlegable GM's.
Four years afterwards, total dismantling that team, and going through different trade highs and lows, (Matthews Trade - Forsberg :disco:, Bennett flipping Calgary >:(, Stecher ok).
Now just got to find away to close the gap on your Edmonton, which be hard and another 3 year plan.
Plus seeing if Burke and Ian can make Pigs year just a bit better by dumping Flyers out of the playoffs and making PPG :soapbox:.

FNHL Ducks are looking forward. We have a great core of players.
We are shopping for pieces we want to build around.
Best of luck to the playoff bound teams.
