St Louis Trades: 2020 2nd Round Draft Pick, St Louis

Vegas does this trade, as the team is in full rebuild mode, and a 2nd round pick in a 2020 draft that being hyped as better than this year is better than the pts Perry can bring me for next 2 years.

Blues confirm. We trade a 2nd round pick in next years supplemental draft. I was looking to add some depth before free agency and I'm hoping that Perry has something left in the tank.

Really like St. Louis' side of this as well, but nothing too lopsided.

WCE i rather get that of a prospect than keep a player, that was putting up below 30 pt pace last year after major Knee surgery and previous year was 49pts in 71 games.

The cap retention is not major problem for Vegas, as we suck and know we need 4 yrs of rebuild and high picks, before we can aim for near playoff chance, never mind contending, seeing how ur Canucks are stacked for the foreseeable future.
