The padres have few true untouchables; Latos, Tate, and Venable. I am looking to listen to any offer, I would take on expiring contracts to free peoples cap before the FA period.  By this I mean, expiring after 2011 of course because expiring in 2010 wouldn't need to be cleared...

Updated Reds Block

SP Morris, Bryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Beltre, Engel, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Trumbo, Mark, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Pettitte, Andy, $8m (2010)
P Motte, Jason, $0.5m (P-2012)
C Napoli, Mike, $5m (2012) - in negotiations
X-OF Hunter, Torii, NYY paying $8m/year through 2011, $-8m in 2011
OF Hunter, Torii, $18m (2011) - in negotiations
P Slowey, Kevin, $0.5m (P-2010)

Looking for a CI(until Belt gets the call - if he gets the call),MI(either MLBer, or someone in the upper minors - Grant Green is a perfect example - not saying I want him per se, but a player of his ilk is what I am looking for), or Catcher... any salary taken on would have to be evened out. If you are inquiring about Hamilton, as a few have, just send an offer, if it doesn't blow me away right off the bat, then I will decline immediately. Not looking to trade him at all, but since I have gotten a few sniffs, I figure it is worth exploring. It would take quite a package though.

Looking to deal combo:
CI Kotchman, Casey, $5.5m (2013) + $3m from Jays in 2011
CI Alonso, Yonder, $1m (2012)

Kotchman is the liability, Alonso is the deliverable.  I want to exchange these to the highest bidder.  I am looking for a starting MI/OF or high minors / MLB depth at C, MI, and OF.

Really wanting one more starting MI, or another OF that is cheaper than Hunter.  Will consider all offers, though.

Please pm any inquiries, thanks!

I am willing to sign and trade either of my RFA(s), open to offers before their prices are made available to the open market

MI Callaspo, Alberto, value more due to my receipt of Supplemental pick if lost
or
CI Thome, Jim

intested in CI/MI/SP, prospects or draft picks let me know but not limited to these if offer is right...

  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.

"Get off my lawn" types wanting to run leagues that were identical to the others. If you want 100 of the same old guys never chatting and no guests on the site. We had how many years of that?
