A.J. Burnett: Burnett did not come out for the fourth inning of Friday's game because he was nicked by a grounder that caught him on the knuckle of his pinkie finger, Rob Biertempfel of Pittsburgh's TribLive reports, not because he allowed five earned runs on six hits and a walk through the first three frames.
