I don't know what magic power Ben has that he is able to negotiate these great deals.  CarGo at $7m/year for 3.5 years is a steal.  The Mariners pick up top prospects including Alonso and Gyorko.  I could be considered too biased since I am in the NL Central, but I feel this is a steal.  I traded away Bundy for the serviceable Zambrano, but this is an all-star MVP candidate in CarGo for two top prospects and another decent prospect.  I am on the ER TC, but this is something I cannot approve.

A former top 30 prospect with a full time gig and two top 50 prospects, one with a decent shot to be eligible at MI.  Marisnick is more than decent, he's ranked 37th by BA in their recent midseason top 50.

Three legitimate top hitting prospects, one in the bigs, another killing AAA and ready for a promotion and the third in AA, is good return even for elite players and pretty standard in this league isn't it?

It is a steal, but I understand SEA side of things.  Three very good young guys at 3 different positions.  I like Gyorko at MI the most out of the group.  Also 2 will be contributing this season and the other probably next year.

Cargo is very good, BABIP may normalize a bit, so good time to sell.
