Jake Oettinger: Slated to start Wednesday

@rcankosy - what I can say is this:

1. I believe that the contract is legitimate.
2. It was an extension that was signed prior to July 2023.
3. There is no proof of the transaction that includes the extension.

In July 2023, as we began to transition the league archives from Bush League to MLB LIVE, there was a transfer 'snafu' that caused us to lose a substantial amount of archived posts. If you try to search the MLB LIVE archives, you will see that you can only go as far back as July 2023: https://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?board=4173.0

Any transactions prior to July 2023 are lost to the sands of time...that said, I recall that several extensions were posted once the salary cap was raised to its current level of $200m, and there were a few doozies amongst them, but I have no evidence that I can provide to indicate that Hoerner was one of those extensions.
