Are these the same rules we're going to use in FNHL for the Seattle expansion draft? Just want to get a heads up on what's coming.

Conditions for Expansion & Operation
FRANCHISE BEGINS PLAY 2021-22; OPERATIONAL AS OF 2020-21.
EXPANSION DRAFT REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: 14 forwards, 9 defensemen and 2 goaltenders (Max. 1 eligible player per team)
* Expansion Draft to take place July 1-7, 2021 TBD
* Total salaries of Expansion Draft players must be minimum of $48.9m (60% of 2020-21 FNHL Cap Ceiling of $81.5m).
* Cannot Buyout Expansion Draft Players before April 15, 2021 - but can trade them
* Any original Seattle Expansion Draft player can be designated a Franchise Player.
Note: Cannot sign active Free Agents during the 2020-21 season; can trade for MiLR players anytime before expansion draft.

I hate surprises is all. The expansion draft will throw a wrench into each team's plans. So will the next cap figure from the NHL in 2021.
I'd rather take the proactive approach like we did here in FNHL to set our own cap #. As fate would have it, the NHL fell in line with Franchise NHL with a $81.5M cap ceiling.
Amazing if you take moment to think about it. Great work by PPG & PR to stay ahead of the curve. :toast:
