Backyard NHL: Completed Transactions / Vancouver and Detroit Trade reworked« on: October 09, 2018, 11:30:34 AM »
To Detroit
Dylan Larkin, $3.6m (2020-21) Sami Vatanen, $3.6m (2018-19) Vitali Kravtsov, N/C (0 games) for Vancouver Matthew Murray, $5.6m (2020-21) Rick Nash, $2.3m (2019-20) Larkin's shooting % took a dip last year, but I expect it to go up and for him to be a 20-25 goal, 70-75 point player this year. He's young and on a bad Detroit team, but there are good young players coming up around him. Vatanan is easily better than half my D-men and gives me better depth at that position. Kravstov is a blue-chip sniper and I expect that he'll become a perennial 30-goal scorer. I wanted him in the draft but missed out on him. I understand that I am trading away a starting goalie, but after picking up Howard in FA, I have 3 starters in a 20 team league and feel that I can diversify my roster and still be very competitive; some teams don't even have a 1 true number. Goalies are tricky, they get hot, they get cold, they get injured. I think this is a fair trade and hopefully the TC sees it as more even than the last attempt. 109

To Detroit
Dylan Larkin, $3.6m (2020-21) Sami Vatanen, $3.6m (2018-19) Lucas Elvenes, N/C (0 games) Round 3 To Vancouver Frederik Andersen, $8.2m (2018-19) Rick Nash, $2.3m (2019-20) Freddie Andersen is a great fantasy goalie, but I really like the guys that I'm picking up. I see Larkin continuing to get better this year, Vatanen should be the #1 PPQB in NJ and Elvenes and the 3rd help Detroit's future. I'm also happy to be shedding Nash's contract as I think he'll retire soon. Thankd for the deal Rob |
