Kings complete this trade to acquire a talented Winger in Niederreiter who can play on either side and we feel is an improvement over Hertl. We give up a pair on young Defensemen along with Tomas Hertl but feel the players coming to Los Angeles will help us more in 2015-16.

I'll tip this one in fav of LA. Hertl's production might be muted for another yr or so while the NHL Sharks rebuild. Nino and the Wild are trending up which gives him more value. Of course Ouellet is a great prospect to own for the Flames.

A good deal for both sides, I'm really high on Nino and Ouellet myself, though Ouellet has a bit of time until he'll produce like he is supposed to. A win to the Kings for now.

Love the deal. We get a couple of D. Tomas Hertl will have a cheaper extension cap hit than the other boys we're trading away. Nino is great but we have a plan with our budget and roster heading into 2015-16.
