When I drop a player to sign them, it'll be the same cap....

ie. Drop Tyler Flowers to sign Chris Ianetta is an even cap swap.

If you require teams to drop players in order to bid on them before they're won, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard and you can find yourself a new GM. No other league on this site has that rule that I've been in. See ya guys, it's been fun, but don't have time to worry about little nuances like this for a sport I don't follow very closely. And Flash had been a giant arse to me since day-2 anyways (was nice in signing me up for the league on day-1).

Even swap?  If you drop C Flowers, Tyler, $0.3m (2019), does his contract suddenly disappear or does he become a player who is Released Under Contract?  Obviously, because he’s not a (P/n-a), his contract is still counted against the Blue Jays salary cap—so with only $0.1m in available cap, your five open bids amount to $1.4m more than than you have.  The rule is intended to prevent reckless bidding, so if that upsets you enough to quit, then all that can be said is good luck.

Bad example. I have a lot of useless prospects who aren't "impact prospects" that can be dropped. Picked that example because it was C for C, but yes, you are right.

Also... Sorry for trying to sign some MLB players and trying to at least field a competitive team this year rather than straight up tank. Would you rather me just buy out all my MLB players and load up on PC players instead?
