White Sox trade
C Martin, Russell, $3m (2014)            
MI Reyes, Jose, $7m (2014) $3m paid this year

Dan gets a great young player to start his rebuild. Martin is a good consistent catcher. I also get Reyes one of the top MI. I can pair up Reyes with Segura and put Martin as my C. It was hard to trade Yelich as I feel he can become a star but I get a very good return.

White Sox are in rebuild mode, or at least get younger mode. Both players being moved were not part of our future plans. Yelich was the prize here, Brown is a former top prospect who has fallen on hard times, and the White Sox front office is hopeful he can turn it around a bit. Thanks 28
