The new Ottawa Senators management strike another deal. The rebuilding takes us to the Ohio and we move a four of our future pieces in exchange for some more seasoned bodies to warm the OTT bench when they return from the IR! We're getting assets to work into future deals and to skate a few games for us here and there. CBJ gets some cap relief while adding some young talent. Coming to OTT LW, Kristian Huselius, $4.8m (2011-2012) RW, Jack Skille, $0.2m (2011-2012) D, Cam Barker, $3.1m (2011-2012) Going to CBJ RW, Stanislav Galiev, $0.6 (2012-2013) RW - Nick Shore, N/C, (0 Games) D, Keaton Ellerby, $2.2m (P-2012) D, Tim Erixon, $2.3m (2013-2014) We continue RE-building this franchise and hope to turn the corner in the next 6 months! The new Ottawa Senators management strike another deal. The rebuilding and youth movement takes us to the West Coast and we move a couple of veteran Centres in exchange for some bodies on the Blueline! Fisher is a great all-around player for a playoff bound team while Peverley and the Bruins are always a safe bet to add points to your team every week. My Senators add a big contract in Dion but the rejuvenated Leafs might just make this deal worthwhile. The prospect and the pick soften the blow for letting Fisha and Pev go. When will this guy return from his concussion and most recent injury in a long line of injuries? With some luck he'll get back to playing by late-January 2012 and not be out 9 months like some other guys.

How long should it take to rebuild a fantasy hockey team?
I'm thinking 1 season. You should be motivated to move out players that you don't want to rebuild around and bring in the new group within a season. I mean this is fantasy right!? So it shouldn't take years or it'd be like watching paint dry and I mean oilbased paint, not latex. lol
