There's nothing set in stone. We have to select our keepers first which I'll probably givea couple weeks for.  Them we can start it after that.

We keep 3 of our teams' (or previous team's if we relocated) draftees?

Yup.  Up to 3. Teams can start selecting their keepers anytime after the draft.

i dont quite recall,  when the cap goes down do the extension costs get adjusted as well?

The extension prices will be adjusted to mirror the NHL once the season begins. Prices should come down with the NHL cap decrease.

I was wondering how signing bonuses are working this FA period.  I know we mostly used them last year to bid up prospects to keep their prospect contract status.  Can we use signing bonuses for any player?

Signing bonuses are effectively out the window now that we're not bidding on prospects.  They can't be used for other players.  There's no minimum contract length on FA pickups so it doesn't make much sense.
