Title: Music City and Disney deal gets done
Post by: Burkes Boys on August 07, 2019, 05:03:44 PM
TRADED TO SOCAL
Brayden Point, $0.5m (2016-2019-EL) Will be getting a big fat raise and deserves it too!
Alexander Edler, $2.3m (2016-2019) Needs to be extended
RW - Matheson Iacopelli (2014: 3/83 - 0 Games)
D - Niklas Hansson (2013: 3/68 - 0 Games)

TRADED TO MUSIC CITY
Shea Theodore, $2.4m (2018-2021)
C - Robert Thomas (2017: 1/20 - 0 Games)

Going to miss Point but he was asking for too much and we need to keep the rest of our pending UFAs happy during contract negotiations this season. Been watching Theodore develop and he looks like he can step it up some more this coming season while Thomas will help keep our

It's a great deal for Nashville.

:iatp: Ducks accept. After failing to deal for Aho, we went with Plan B and added the best young player we want to build our franchise around for years to come. Point will be much more expensive on the open market and we like getting a veteran defender to add depth on our blueline. Thanks Burke.

:iatp: I don't get why Halo is bashing Ducks trades?? Preds send 300 pts, Ducks shipping off 160pts. How it that a Preds win? Perhaps cap? I think the Ducks are getting a solid package.

I don’t usually vote but I think Theodore for Point was pretty even up given cap considerations and potential forecasted point improvements or regression potential. Could possibly just keep Anderson with the capital. The Thomas portion is probably where Ducks lost ground given control and age. I think this one was fine until I saw Nashville was involved.... BB has a sports almanac from 2030 - approve

I am a little surprised by the comments you make AntMan. You made a number of deals with the previous owner of some of my teams that I doubt you'd undo even if I doubled or tripled the offer...

How about 2 or 3 Supple draft picks for Cayden Primeau?

:iatp: Ducks can build they way they want.
