Hey guys, I'd like to suggest the Entry Draft be pushed back given how the 2020/21 NHL season might not start until sometime in January.

According to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic who interviewed Bill Daly, there are a number of "challenges" to getting the new season started on December 1st. Food for thought. Perhaps have a backup plan for a revised Draft date if December 1st is pushed back or state outright that if December 1st is delayed then the Entry Draft get delayed (but since our draft is slated for Oct 26th it might be tough to know in advance that Dec 1 isn't happening).

From what I can tell, the NHL likes giving the Stanley Cup champs a 2mo layoff. If that's the case, we know the Cup's going to be awarded sometime late Sept or by Oct 4th which is the date I recall Bettman claiming is the latest possible date for a Stanley Cup Finals game like a Game 7.
I imagine Bettman or Daly will announce a delay to the 2020-21 season immediately after the Finals if they need to. That should give FNHL enough time to hold or push back the October 26th Entry draft date. That's my 2 cents.

I thought Oct 6-7 is the NHL's new Entry Draft dates and that Dec 1 is still the target start date for the 20/21 NHL season.
