Not FNHL related but figure there are plenty of veterans of this site in this league. Anyone know anything about that new league Profsl Dynasty Hky or the commissioners WestCoastExpress and Vik? Seems interesting to get into a start up like getting Seattle here.
If there's anything I've learned from my 3 years on this site is that FNHL is the best run league hands down. Looks like a pair of guys who prefer the gridiron and diamond. Blkhwkfn appears to be in one of their basketball leagues and might have some feedback via PM.

Ideally we bring in new blood either as owner of Seattle or an existing owner sells their team before being allowed to buy expansion Seattle Kraken. Endgame gave a good example of letting go of Anaheim before taking over Seattle if he's chosen to run the Kraken. I think the goal is to invite the best hockey people around.
Don't get me wrong, I think we have a great group of owners in FNHL (I'm actually shocked I haven't sniffed a trace of drama in FNHL. Definitely rare and welcome in fantasy sports). But we want new playmates in this sandbox don't we?

I barely have time for one team. Don't know how you guys who have a couple of teams manage.

I have a question, did Marc Bergevin of the Montreal Canadiens get fleeced by Columbus on the Domi/Anderson trade?
I mean, the knuckle head gave away Max Domi AND a 3rd round pick for a guy that scored all of 4 points this year!??? HAHAHAHA
NHL Montreal should fire Marc before he gives away the talents non-French players in Montreal.

Perhaps consider rolling back the 2021-22 salary cap to below 81.5 million, even below $78.0 million.
WHY?
With FNHL adding the Seattle Kraken for the 2021-22 season, the 32nd team will absorb lots of existing salary.
My understanding is the skater increases this year were to a) keep value current with actual NHL player contracts and b) create the necessary cap tension in this league to allow for a more robust Free Agency annually.
So I think it would be good for our league (FNHL) to reduce, not just maintain the salary cap ceiling if we want to create some proper player movement and incent owners toward making more transactions.
Full disclosure, my Habs are going to easily need WAY MORE cap space starting now through next year so this recommendation does NOT benefit my team at all - in fact it will negatively impact my Habs.
Hope everyone's seeing the value of this upcoming cap ceiling rollback. FNHL free agency this year is looking bleak. That means the rich stay rich and the poor stay put in the league cellar. A polarized league is not exiting long term. We all want to see teams able to rebuild on the fly and top teams feel the financial pressure of keeping their top players year over year. And more importantly, we want strong league wide competition for the big prize year after year.
