The hard part to me is that dropping salaries or increasing players values too quickly can hurt some teams while it may help others. This can cause an imbalance in the league. For the GMs who have locked up good SPs for cheap by utilizing spec deals this punishes them and rewards GMs who have not. Raising the value of pitchers also hurts GMs who have let pitchers go due to their lower value at the time and rewards GMs who have hung on to top ranked guys.

Also besides Miguel Cabrera and Chris Davis (Both having historic years for hitters) The scoring ratio of 47% Hitting 17% Fielding and 36% pitching for the league is fairly close. These percentages say that a Pitcher should roughly score half of what a hitter does and a this point in the year the top pitcher is scoring roughly half of the top hitters.

I totally agree with this which is why maybe its best to make any changes for the 2015 season.  I do think that we can't just leave it as pitchers pretty much have no value in this league.

I wouldn't say they have no value. It would be hard for a team to win without having some pitching staff. The changes to limit GS and IP has also increased the value of the better pitchers because they score more points per IP and per GS. This means that a team cant stock up on 15 SP and stream all week. One Kershaw or Verlander is worth a lot more then a few lesser SPs and because of that they should get paid more.

Please don't change it up.  The time to worry about this was years ago.  The extension values($) will drop naturally if it does so in the MLB right?  So lets not worry about changing the format of the league.  Freeing up more money for large market teams is way unfair.  The implications of doing such are far too numerous to figure-out.

I agree with Shooter and Joe that the pitching should stay the same. We increased it this past off season and think the league scoring should remain constant.

I do agree with Papps that the resign values should change. All resign values should change as to what our league has done.

Meaning resign values should be equal to what our league contracts are.
