Thanks. Just as an FYI, I'm very active, but if you need anything email me. I generally check it multiple times a day on my phone.

Forgive me if I'm way off, but if I extend the following are their salaries correct based on their rankings:

Beltre $16M per
Pence $10.5M per
Lowrie $3.5M per
Molina $3M per

I took their Fantrax rankings and cross referenced them with the extensions section.

Mike,

I copied this information and created a new topic the Transactions Board where we post all our transactions.

Okay, so I apologize in advance if this seems like a stupid post, but a couple of quick question.

1.) Am I only allowed to update my FANTRAX roster or is there a way to edit the roster on my team page? Am I supposed to post my intentions as far as releases and players I do not intend to re-sign?

Yeah Mike, post your intentions on the Transaction board and I'll take care of it from there. I do transactions on Fantrax daily during the season and ProFSL weekly on Sundays. All you need to do is set your daily line-up on Fantrax.

With the fallout of the Beltre extension falling thru, I plan to make appropriate roster decisions either Saturday or Sunday to help shape my future transactions.

What is the deadline for me to re-sign Beltre? There are a bunch of milb guys I want to release to free up money for Beltre. I am 500k short, but as long as there is no penalty I see multiple milb guys that should get me below.

From what I understand, any player on a rookie contract can be cut at no penalty. These players are indicated by having six years of a salary on my team page of $0.5M per season. If this is true and I can in fact cut these players with no risk of penalty. The Astros would not only like to re-sign CI Adrian Beltre for 4 years/$64M, but also cut the following players:

Sam Gervacio
Ross Seaton
Rick Hague
Nick Longmire
Jordan Cooper
Matt Miller
Peter Tago

Players on a prospect contract can be released without penalty, but the players you have listed are all EDRs.  Our rules allow each team to carry 20 EDRs, with the stipulation that their salaries do not impact our salary caps until they are promoted to our 40 man rosters.  As such, there is no cap relief if an EDR is released.

Effective immediately, I am resigning as GM of the Astros. I have found over the last two and a half months that this league is not for me. I have no problem taking over a lesser team, but the way this league has progressed, I find it would take multiple seasons of futility to have a remote chance at respectability. I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time and hopefully the next GM will have more patience and success than I did.

Thank you

Mike H.
