The reason behind the postponement request is that the trade deadline was relatively close to actual NBA trade deadline and some GMs had not the chance to connect in those few days. It would be great to let the teams have at least 10 days to discuss trades after the actual NBA trade deadline. If Billy agrees, as proposed by Pistons, we could use the ASB to finalize some other deals based on most recent trades and buyouts in real NBA

Personally I would prefer to stick with the trade deadline that already passed. I was trying to work out last minute deals too and simply ran out of time. The time to request an extension would have been before the trade deadline, not after. It was posted in key dates over a month ago and a message went out to everyone that the key dates were updated. I don't want to disadvantage those teams that paid attention to the deadline by changing it up on them by a deadline extension announced several days after the original deadline passed. I'm not the commissioner so it isn't up to me to grant an extension or deny one, but just wanted to share my thoughts as others are sharing theirs.

Its my fault Im in too many basketball leagues with different deadlines. I can totally be ok sticking with the deadline set as it honestly makes me harder to get out of the playoffs lol. Totally up to @Billy

Trade deadline was posted in key dates and the 2022-23 Season thread weeks ago and I also sent an email out through fantrax last week that any trades would have to be posted by 12:01 AM EST monday.

Even with the trade, there's no way you could fall out of playoffs lol. My team is first on the outside of the East playoffs and I'm 11.5 games behind the 8 seed. 18 games behind you lol
