Really would like to acquire a 3B. Doesn’t have to be a star, but I have the minor league pieces to pay for whatever level 3B, you’re willing to deal. Hit me up if you’re willing to move one.

Bauer and Corbin are OTB.

Astros are also looking to acquire draft picks.  There are so many skipped picks, why not get something for those skipped picks you don't plan on using.
Title: Re: New Trade Block
Post by: Vik on February 19, 2019, 02:42:55 PM
Roster rounding into form but looking to add 1 or 2 depth pieces via trade and get full money paid this year (preferably bats but not picky on position). Doesn't have to be a star just don't have enough cap left to get to 40 with remaining FAs.

The spec return will obviously depend on how good the player is and how much money is being paid open to all ideas though do have a small set of untouchable specs.

Alright guys, this season has been fun but 20 some games out in July means it's time to sell. I'm here to eat all of the contract money for 2019. I'm looking for Specs and draft picks.

Everybody is on the block.

Need an OF? Kevin Kiermaier and Adam Eaton are your guys.

Need RP's? Carlos Estevez, Ryan Brasier, and Aaron Bummer are here for you.

SP's? Michael Pineda and Jordan Lyles say hello.

Eduardo Nunez is a nice bench piece.

Young guys will be moved but they will be more expensive.

Stop by, see what you like, let's get this ball rolling.

Realized my team is in a big cap bind and currently cannot extend 2 SPs I wanted to with Blackmon eating eating over 18m. However, since we still got time to finalize things, if you want them at their market price instead of letting them hit FA will move for specs:

Cole Hamles, $14,672,500 extension value
Jose Quintana $12,389,750 extension value

I'm also open to moving 1 of these but want full or close to full cap savings if I do so:

Jon Lester 13.25m 2021
Jake Arrieta 12m 2021

Putting SP   Michael Pineda ('20 12m) and C   Omar Narvaez ('20 580k, '21 2.1m) on the block.

Looking for corner INF or RP.

Will pay down some of Pineda due to suspension but he's still worth his contract. Narvaez for those of you who missed or will miss out on J.T.

Haven't been fan of options/prices in FA but really need a proven 1B.

Ideally want salary paid this year and preserve my cap to fill other roster spots via FA.

I don't have the greatest farm but almost everyone is available so if you have a 1B available and see specs you like shoot me PM.

Boston Red Sox

SP Sale, Chris $18m (2021)
RP Melancon, Mark $10m (2021)
1B Belt, Brandon $19m (2021)
CF Bruce, Jay $8m (2021)

Taking over this team is going to be tough and the plan is just to build around Acuna. Most players are available with the exception of the young, controllable guys. I am obviously looking to build any kind of minor league system and am willing to pay on these contracts if needed to receive better players. Thanks in advance!
