with a shorter than normal season this year we need to look at if we should change our playoff format.
I would be in favor of doing what we normally do with the only change being 1 week each round for a 3 week playoffs.
the second Idea would be to do the top 4 teams with either a 3 week playoffs or a 2 week playoffs.
What do you guys think?

I believe we've always been 1 round in the playoffs, with the exception of the finals being 1 week plus any remaining half weeks. I also looked back at what we did in 2012-13 during the lockout-shortened season, which we just shortened the regular season.
The only option for us would be to do a 13-week regular season and 3 playoff weeks, the last "scoring period" is a 1 day period on May 8th, which will be added to the championship week.
With the contraction, we reverted back to our 8 team playoff schedule.
