Buyout.
Tobias Rieder, $1.2m (2019-20)X 66.66% = $0,8 (rounded)

Just a couple notes, and I think this has been discussed before, but buyouts are not allowed for the current season after the playoffs have concluded, this buyout therefore would be for 2019-20 season so may want to hold off until waivers open or next season on this one so you have more options with him.
This also goes for Makar, his contract would not start until the 2019-20 season as well.

I understand I will hold off until waivers open for Rieder and
go ahead with Makar's contract that will start next fall (3years: 2019-2020-2021-2022).
