TO: :ANA: Anaheim Ducks :ANA:
Michael Bournival, $0.7m (2013-2015)
Kevin Bieska, $4.9m (2013-2016)
TO: :MON-NHL: Montreal Canadiens :MON-NHL:
Peter Holland, $0.3m (2013-2015)
Louis Leblanc, $0.4m (2013-2015)
Saku Koivu, $2.2m (2012-2015)
This trade started yesterday with one player but Mike is a busy man and traded away both players I was looking to get
In my win now situation I can't wait on a guy like Holland who as a lot of upside but won't be a big impact this year same goes for Leblanc and can't wait on Koivu to decide if he plays or not this year. :judge:
With Bieksa I get another piece of the puzzle for my contending team . I take a little gamble on Bournival but I like his gritty play and could make a case for him self and land a spot on the 3rd line .
Thanks to mike for working out a deal

No rest for the weary HF. Lol.
I like the high upside of both Leblanc and Holland. Its time for Bieska to move to a contender and get some good young guys back.

As much as id like to see montreal suck, in this league its different. Great players going to the Ducks. Habs get unsigned guy Saku Koivu who might even retire at 39 yrs of age and add a couple of kids with the potential tag but already running out of race track as prospects go.
The deal with Colorado was weak. This deal further sucks life out of an already average team. :puke:

"Its time for Bieska to move to a contender"
That killed this trade.
As a win now guy I'd make this deal too but it hurts the league to see Montreal get weakened by this deal.
Maybe in a free league this flies but not in a money league.

Leblanc and Holland would be more valuable if they were still in MiLR eligible. Unfortunately they are not guaranteed any time in the NHL this season nor next and are not consider true prospects having underperformed at the AHL level.

I agree with this assessment. Full disclosure on my part as Montreal is in the same division as my Senators however I fear this trade depletes Montreal's talent pool without replenishing it in any meaningful way. For those reasons I cast a Veto on this trade.

Gents, with the removal of Montreal's GM from FNHL this trade it is now void. :judge:
