. DET looks like a winner here but maybe I'm undervaluing the picks the Flames are getting.

I like the Wings side of this deal. Getting more points from Scheifele, Gunnarsson can help out on D and Day got signed by the Lightning over the Summer and might develop into a serviceable 3rd pairing.

I will award the advantage to Detroit in this trade. They receive a superior elite player as well as a depth defender and a prospect in Sean Day that once showed promise who was signed by an organization that rehabilitated the likes of Shattenkirk.
