Title: Cats + Preds complete a trade

Florida and Nashville have agreed to a deal that allows Nashville to reduce salary to be cap compliant for the start of the season.

Traded to :FLO:
C Evgeny Kuznetsov, $7.1m (2016-2020)
Prospect D - Gabriel Carlsson (2015: 1/29 - 0 Games)
Round 2 - 2017 (from :NAS:)

Traded to :NAS:
D T.J. Brodie, $3.4m (2016-2019)
+ $3.7m in Cap Savings

I get assets for eating salary I didnt have to bother taking on since my Cats have plenty of Centres. Maybe Kuz gets packaged off with other players down the line  Hope Carlsson pans out sooner than later.

:NAS: Preds confirm this trade. Needed to get under the ceiling by the deadline. Had some offers from PR to do that and worked on something where I wouldn't tear my team apart why getting it done. Really like Kuznetsov but his $7 million cap hit was the easiest salary to part company with so we shipped him to sunny Florida. Thanks for making this work PR. :toast:
