Several Questions
«
on:

1. Anyone have an appetite for maybe reversing trades made specifically for a playoff run? I looked back and I don't think many trades qualify.
My trade with the Avs where I swapped Atkinson a pick for Dubnyk was made purely for a playoff run. Playoffs that we don't get to have. I probably would've resigned Atkinson, but certainly not Dubnyk.
2. Since our contracts are now based on point totals any resigns we do for RFAs will be 10% lower than they should be because a full season wasn't played. Should we prorate all players point totals based on pts/g and go with that for resign values?
3. Can we still make roster moves on this year? My plan was to run with Jordan Staal a bit, probably get bounced in the playoffs and flex waiver him.

Alright I'm game to take the other side on that argument!
Saying you wouldn't have made the trade if you had known about the Pandemic is like the Canucks NOT drafting Luke Bourdon because...you know. You just don't get do-overs in these situations (Acts of God). There's no insurance for that...no "reversing". Love to hear from other folks on this and maybe get a bit of playoff chatter going. Cally, you out there??

I agree with slack. since this is a fun league and not a money league its just bad luck for some. also if you trade a ton for a great player and a month later he has a career ending injury you would not be able to reverse the trade, its just bad luck.

I mainly posted just for debating purposes, but I feel like making a terrible draft choice and a career ending injury are part of the risks you take. Simply not having the actual competition for your players to play in is not. My thought was based on that the NHL was going to reverse trades that were conditional on making the playoffs. We don't have conditional trades officially, but some are very apparent.

I can definitely see an argument for allowing teams to make roster moves in this year still. I know I was planning on moving Corey Perry and Patrik Berglunds buyout money in 20-21 to this year. The only reason I hadn't done it was there was a chance Tarasenko might have come back in time for our playoffs and if I needed to activate him in the finals I would have taken that hit.
I guess I would propose a deadline is set for making transactions (Drops, buyouts, etc.) on the 2019-2020 rosters before we roll to the next year and proceed with the offseason.

Youve seen them? We havent completely structured all that yet. Weve got expansion and other factors that the real Wolves dont face.

My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.

Yeah had to just check. So a deadline to select the keepers. Then a few days for the selection. Me and Seattle alternate picks?
Yesterday
at 07:47:47 PM
Daddy
:
The expansion draft is LIVE alternating picks until both teams have 15 players like the NBA All Star teams get picked.

Can you imagine a league(s). Where EVERY player that becomes a professional has value.. and 30-32 teams have 30-32 different people are actively determining that value?

Where you dont wait for trades to happen on scoring sites or SS updates and the only thing asked of you is to run your own franchise and see how good you are. On an EVEN playing field.

:
Its already near impossible to get into NFL LIVE. We had to start up a 64 team league just to accommodate the waiting list. True Story.

Once full. NBA, NHL, & NCAAs will be very difficult to get into. People dont just walk away from LIVE often and when they do... They usually want back in. Legit dont miss your team in your sports. Get them while you can.
