Changing of the guard in WCB...

Gary (Cornhuksers, @Alpha5) has volunteered to take the reins as commissioner for WCB. Quite the reversal of fortune for an owner who was not even in the league one year ago - first, league champ; now, league lead!

I'm not going anywhere, just trying to lighten my load a little bit. I will still be around to update the spreadsheet and help with league ops as needed.

I know that this was not an easy year, and I want to thank every owner - old and new - for making sure that we kept this league alive during a sad time and an abrupt transition. Here's hoping to a better 2024!

I do want to re-brand this league as 'Powerhouse'. We'll run with the house thing with 'House rules' and 'House discussions' and such. To my knowledge we only have two open teams and some of our best GM's on site are in the league. With that alone, we are in great shape. I'll post the 2024 league calendar this week. The one and only rule change that I would absolutely like to implement is a 48 hour Off-season FA bid clock & 24 hour In-season FA bid clock. I believe teams should be able to make relatively quick moves in the event of injuries etc in season. I'll send a group message to all of our GMs today to open up dialog about the state and direction of the league.
