Title: Minnesota Wild Violation: Line-up Tampering (Penalty: Default Loss)

:MIN-NHL: i need to ask you to give up your commissioner controls in fantrax.

i've spotted at least 3 scoring periods when your team's line-up was adjusted after line-ups had locked (NHL games were already in progress or finished).

all team's line-ups lock before the start of the 1st game of that day in FNHL.

this just shouldn't happen.
if there's anything i've missed here, pl clarify.

PENALTY (added Feb5, 2013):
Upon discussion with co-commissioner hockeyfreak47, the following penalty will be imposed on the :MIN-NHL: Franchise:

Loss of each Match-up where the :MIN-NHL: line-up was adjusted after line-ups had locked for all teams.

This means :MIN-NHL: loses it's WK1 matchup against :BUF-NHL: and it's WK2 matchup against :LA:. Minnesota Wild roster will be retroactively adjusted to reflect this decision, which will update the records of the impacted teams.

feb5-13: added penalty notation agreed to with co-commissioner :PHO:

Period 3's NHL games were played on Jan.21st.
:MIN-NHL: line-up changes for period 3 were made on Jan.22nd
the icon also denotes commish controls were used to submit a change.

There is no reason I should have commissioner controls anyway as I am not a commissioner so I can easily relinquish it. Pretty sure I didn't violate anything but if I did I am sorry. I usually turn on commissioner controls when making my lineup changes because instead of getting that dumb confirmation you can bypass it by using commissioner control.

That's disappointing to say the least. As if the Wild didn't already have a strong team to start with then to tinker with line ups. Drew it looks like you did it four times during the last 13 days. Where's the sportsmanship? Not cool whatsoever.

I would give the benefit of the doubt to Drew here.  His reputation and losing performances in leagues in which he had commish power suggest otherwise.

I can truthfully say in all leagues based via fantrax I turn on commissioning powers to avoid having the stupid confirmation thing when setting my lineups. I will refrain from using the commissioner set up to do so in my leagues in the future so this mistake doesn't happen.

ex- :MIN-NHL: / Drew,

you still need to resign from fantrax yourself since you have commissioner powers you cannot be removed by others.

sure you can.   go to commissioner,  all options, enable/disable commissioners, uncheck him.   then you should be able to remove him.

That is unless he is the primary commissioner.

was trying to avoid the long explanation since drew knows the situation...

but yes snug, drew opened the 2012-13 fnhl site while there was a gap betw the previous commish + the one just before me this past summer... so yes, he is flagged as the default primary commish on fantrax.

therefore drew must remove himself on fantrax while leaving the team intact.

Drew isnt the kind of person that is going to destroy the team. Give the guy some credit.

Did Drew use performance enhancing line setting?  This is probably a question we won't know the answer too until he does a tell all on Oprah.   For now we will have to strip him of all his titles back to 2010 since we can't be sure he wasn't using performance enhancing line setting then as well.  Unfortunately the other teams that played that year were also found to be using performance enhancing line setting as well so we cant have a winner for those years.

Unfortunately, due to the controversy Drew has also had to step down from his charity Drewstrong which benefited people with carpel tunnel syndrome.

Since the controversy came to light others that were allegedly aware of the performance enhanced line setting have come forward with stories of how they were forced to keep quite or risk having their best player dropped from their team or having all their players benched.

In other new, Snugerud has been spraying his crotch with Deer pee for it's performance enhancing properties,,,,, still no effect
